@ Will, Eric, Brandon & everyone else just getting started, the first day is going to be a complete shock. That's the way it was for me. It can get a little frustrating not being able to keep pace with those in the videos since they make it look so easy. Keeping track of past workouts (the number of reps, the weight used) is a way I got past it. I started competing with myself and my past performance.

Depending on your starting point, if you keep at it and don't over do it, you'll want to go past the 90 days. For me, I was really overweight when I started so it took more than one round to get the job done. I'm still going at it, but with some modifications to the schedule and I'm cycling in new workouts.

Be sure to stop back.

WOW! I am 34 and def. in the worst shape of my life. I used to be a gym rat but just let myself go for way too long. Just finished day one and man was that brutal! In all my years of working out I never once have felt nauseated or thrown up;I had both happen today! I dropped 20 pounds before starting this. I was at 243, now at 223. Im 6'2 so I was not looking obese, but I looked terrible. Now even at 223, I cannot do more than one pull-up and the second pass through was almost unmanageable. Im determined so im takin it in stride. Already soreness is kicking in.. i will keep updating. pray for me.lol

I am glad to read the posts of the suffering. I just did my first day today. It's been about 3 hours since I completed it and I still feel a bit nauseated. I thought I was is in "ok" shape since I run and do a lot of mountain hiking. I don't do much weights and every now and then I'll do some push-ups or sit-ups for the heck of it. I haven't done a pull-up since I was 20 years old...I'm 44. After this workout, I feel like I am in TERRIBLE shape. I agree with Alex -- watching the girl do those dive-bomber push-ups like they were easy just irritated the heck out of me and made me feel incredibly whimpy! I am so sore already -- I hate to see what I'll be like in a few days!

I am determined to complete this thing!

Just did my first day today, Im not out of shape, but im a 32 y/o guy that has seen fat in parts of my stomach that i hate and never had in my 20s! Very sore but its a good sore. Tony is so annoying at times you want to put your foot through the t.v. but I just keep thinking of the end resaults! My 22 y/o fit girlfriend is doing it as well, just different type of toning program. Keep you posted!

I am restarting my first week after the Chest and back dvd and plyometrics dvd kicked the sh*t out of me. I work out regularly and swim regularly but I never thought i was this out of shape, but this is the reason i am doing the p90x system. Anyone have any good tips for getting over the soreness? After the ab ripper x dvd i have sore muscles in my legs i never knew existed. Great program i can't with till the soreness goes away and i can truely bring it.
