The Chest & Back routine is one of my favorite in P90X. It’s hardcore push ups and pull ups. You feel beat up about half way through, but a half hour after finishing, you feel great.
Since this is one of my favorites, I’ve been doing many of the exercises even though I haven’t been strictly following the P90X routine.
During the first few times through this routine last year, I would get nauseous at about half way in. I stuck with it and it eventually went away. Make sure you know your limits.
So far a little sore today after going through this one. Will probably feel it a bit more tomorrow morning.
One of the things that Tony Horton recommends using for the pushup exercises are pushup bars. As I’ve said before, I’m a huge fan of the Perfect Pushup. Instead of using the static pushup bars illustrated, I substituted the rotating Perfect Pushup.
