Like I said last week, The Chest and Back workout is one of my favorites out of all of the P90X routines. But just because I like it by no means makes it easy. I’ve seen it where people like certain workouts because they can do it with ease and dislike those that are challenging. One of the many things I’ve learned with P90X and Tony Horton’s instruction is that some of these exercises take time. When I first started I could barely do two decline pushups.
This one is tough, but I still like it. One of the modifications I make, and I’ll speak more of the modifications in P90X later, is that I use the Perfect Pushup. I’ve said numerous times how I’m a fan of it. I feel that a lot of the gains I’ve made in the strength of my forearms alone is due to the combination of the Perfect Pushup and P90X.
Tomorrow is Plyometrics. This one is a challenge, it kills me every time. For some reason, with doing P90X, you look forward to voluntarily getting beat up on a daily basis.
