P90X, Day 13 — Kenpo X, Again

P90X Kenpo XMan I am sore today from yesterday’s Legs and Back. It’s that good kind of sore that tells you it was a good work­out. It’s also that kind of sore that tries to tempt you to rest and take it easy today. Now there is also the kind of sore that comes from injury or poten­tial injury. For those that don’t know the dif­fer­ence, learn it to pre­vent injury. While rest is impor­tant I’ve already had my rest day this week and I want to keep up the momen­tum I’ve gained dur­ing this week.

Kenpo X is just want I needed. No weights, just a lot of mov­ing. The warmup and stretch por­tions help get the stiff­ness out of my legs. The con­stant motion really helped me get rid of the sore­ness I was feel­ing. How does the say­ing go…the hair of the dog that bit you? I think that can apply here. More work­ing out to shake off the sore­ness of yesterday’s workout.

The Kenpo X rou­tine is one that will chal­lenge your endurance. While enjoy­able for those that like to move around, it keeps you mov­ing for almost an hour.
