P90X, Day 13 — Kenpo X, Again
Man I am sore today from yesterday’s Legs and Back. It’s that good kind of sore that tells you it was a good workout. It’s also that kind of sore that tries to tempt you to rest and take it easy today. Now there is also the kind of sore that comes from injury or potential injury. For those that don’t know the difference, learn it to prevent injury. While rest is important I’ve already had my rest day this week and I want to keep up the momentum I’ve gained during this week.
Kenpo X is just want I needed. No weights, just a lot of moving. The warmup and stretch portions help get the stiffness out of my legs. The constant motion really helped me get rid of the soreness I was feeling. How does the saying go…the hair of the dog that bit you? I think that can apply here. More working out to shake off the soreness of yesterday’s workout.
The Kenpo X routine is one that will challenge your endurance. While enjoyable for those that like to move around, it keeps you moving for almost an hour.
