If you haven’t noticed yet I’ve been on quite a yoga kick (just check here, here, and here). It just seems that the more I research it, the more benefits I find when you add it to your workout routine. That’s why when work got in the way of doing Yoga X this week I made sure to move it to make sure I get it in. The flexibility of the program allows you to make adjustments if needed.
Yoga X was a great way to end the week. Week one saw my reintroduction into the P90X routine and week 2 saw some gains. I saw improvements in some of the workouts, my clothes have been fitting a bit better, and when I checked my weight this morning I was already down 4 pounds. Believe it or not, that actually caught me by surprise. If anything, I didn’t expect the pounds to drop until week 4, the first of the “recovery” weeks. I find 4 pounds lost in the first two weeks a bit impressive since the focus on building muscle and the muscle that I can feel that I’ve put on.
Well, this coming week is going to be a bit busy so I won’t be able to check in on a daily basis. I’ll put up an update at the end of the week.
