Today started the recovery week between Phase I and Phase II. This week doesn’t have any of the intensive muscle building workouts like Chest & Back or Shoulders & Arms so you have a chance to give those muscles a break in order to recuperate and get stronger. But this week is no slouch.
Today was the first of two Yoga X workouts. A great way to start off the work week in my opinion. The energy from this routine lasts through the entire day. I know I keep saying it, but it’s a great benefit I get from it. One of the other benefits I’ve seen from it is with my legs and my hamstrings in particular.
My hamstrings are very tight and with some of the other workouts like Kenpo X and Plyometrics, it’s obvious that it’s a hindrance. Some of the positions in Yoga X give me the opportunity to stretch out my hamstrings and work on improving my flexibility in that area. I’m looking forward to the two yoga workouts this week.
