Well, I had to take an unexpected rest day today. I pulled a muscle in my lower back yesterday late in the day. When I woke up this morning it was still sore and tight. This goes back to what I’ve said a few times before, know the difference between the good kind of sore and the bad kind sore.
The pulled muscle wasn’t bad enough to keep me completely off my feet, but it was bad enough that it was worth taking the rest day. It was bad enough that my workout would have suffered, it would have been a weak effort, and most importantly, I could have risked a much worse injury if I went forward with Core Synergistics as planned. I’ll just readjust this weeks workout routines, keep a heating pad on my back tonight, and pick up tomorrow.
