P90X, Day 24 — Core Synergistics

P90X Core SynergisticsIts been a bit of a while since I’ve done the Core Syn­er­gis­tics work­out. As the name implies, it focuses on the mus­cles that make up your torso. Your abs, your back, and your legs. It was obvi­ous I haven’t done this rou­tine in a while and I was suck­ing wind about half way through. Ply­o­met­rics may beat me up, but it doesn’t knock the wind out of me like Core Syn­er­gis­tics did today.

This has some very dif­fi­cult exer­cises. The Plank to Chat­u­ranga Run, the Prison Cell Pushup & the Sphinx Pushup all give your mid-section a tremen­dous work­out. The sides of my torso are def­i­nitely still feel­ing it.
