X Stretch may be the underrated workout in P90X. While I’ve been researching yoga, I’ve realized how important stretching is. I’ll admit that when I need a rest day X Stretch is the one that I skip, but I still make the effort to do this routine regularly.
I dislocated my right shoulder was I was younger so when I workout hard with lots of pushups and other shoulder exercises, my shoulder gets very sore. I definitely feel the pain in my shoulder on days I do Chest & Back. X Stretch has helped with the pain and soreness in my shoulder, much like how Yoga X has helped with the tightness in my hamstrings. The pain is still there and I have to watch how hard I push that shoulder, but doing these Stretching routines and Yoga X during the week have helped to keep the shoulder loose. I know I’ve said this before, but P90X will expose just about every fitness weakness you have. Fortunately, X Stretch and Yoga X are two workouts that can help with that.
