Infor­ma­tion Included In The Bowflex Manual

Bowflex owners manual coverBefore you start using your Bowflex, it is going to be impor­tant for you to read through your Bowflex man­ual, to make sure that you under­stand the dif­fer­ent parts on the machine and how they all work. This is going to ensure not only that you have the best work out and get the best results, but also that you will not be putting your­self at risk of injury.

The Work­out Bench

The work­out bench is one of the major parts of the Bowflex machine. The Bowflex man­ual describes the work­out bench in detail and how you use it properly.

The quick release bench is the long por­tion of your bench. It attaches to and releases from the seat por­tion very easy, to make chang­ing it up as quick and easy for you as pos­si­ble. To attach it all you need to do is sim­ply insert the half hinge on the end of the bench into the half hinge on the seat, and then for stand­ing exer­cises you sim­ply remove the bench by lift­ing up on the long por­tion and pulling it away from the seat.

Reg­u­lar Grip

Also described in the Bowflex man­ual is the reg­u­lar grip on the machine. You sim­ply grasp the han­dle and then cuff together to form a grip with­out insert­ing your hand through the cuff por­tion. Most of the exer­cises you will com­plete on the Bowflex will use this hand grip so it is impor­tant you are aware on the proper way to use it.

Leg Extension/Leg Curl Attachment

Also described in the Bowflex man­ual is the leg extension/leg curl attach­ment on the machine. This is a gym-quality attach­ment that helps you to develop strong, toned, mus­cu­lar legs. To do a seated leg exten­sion, all you need to do is place the hooks on the leg exten­sion seat attach­ment over the posts at the top of the leg exten­sion and place the cross brace on the seat frame in the bracket behind the slid­ing seat.

All the parts on the Bowflex will be easy to use as long as you read the Bowflex man­ual and know how to prop­erly use them. The man­ual is very well writ­ten and easy to read, so you do not have to be expe­ri­enced in the fit­ness world to be able to nav­i­gate through it. Rather than wait­ing until you have a prob­lem you should read through the man­ual first so that you will already be aware of how to do everything.
