Did you ever sleep the wrong way and when you woke up your back or neck is just stiff and sore? Yep, happened to me this morning. I woke up with a sore back and when I got out of bed I could feel my lower back tighten up. I don’t know exactly what I did in my sleep, but it was sore when I woke up.
Today was supposed to be Plyometrics and I tried to do it this morning, but with my back feeling that way that workout was a no go. I decided to go with X Stretch, something seriously less intense just to get my body moving and to hopefully loosen up my back. The three Sun Salutations in the beginning of the routine didn’t feel too great at first, but several of the stretches helped.
As I write this, I’ve got a heating pad on my back and expect it to be fine for tomorrow morning and Shoulders and Arms. I’ll do Plyometrics later this week.
Hey I love reading your blog and results, thank you! I actually had this same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Couldn’t do any type of workout. I finished the p90x and have moved onto the plus workout, but still I know your pain. What a bad day to have a strain in the neck, plyometrics is a great workout to!

Loved reading your P90x experience! Thanks for sharing! I always experience stiffness too because of not sleeping in a comfy position. Keep writing!
I like the px90 as well, fighting, and I asleo want to ” pump it up ” ‚the annoying fat!(*^__^*) ……
