Who am I? I’m that guy who has struggled with his weight for most of his life. I’m that person that no matter how hard I tried, found it difficult to keep his waist size down. After college, I’m the person who took a desk job that commands 8 – 10 hours of their day. I’m that person who enjoys being active and working out, but can never seem to find a way to have his body reflect that effort. I’m that person who is always looking for ways to eat well, but will splurge when appropriate. I guess I’m your Average Joe.
For the longest time it seemed that when I would search for information all I would find were the dead ends and empty promises of gimmicks. I’ve, at times, succumbed to the hype of those “Quick and Easy” weight loss solutions. I’ve tried different diets. But at the end of it all, I was back where I started, or heavier.
I’ve started this site with the goal of sharing nutritional information and fitness tips that I have learned from research, talking to others as well as trial and error on my part. I’m not a doctor, nutritionist, professional trainer or gym rat. I only spend about an hour working out.
The information I want to share here is for those looking to feel good, look good and have a great workout, but are still an Average Joe like me. You don’t need to be a nutritionist to learn how to eat well as well as be a professional trainer to have a good workout.
I came up with the address ExplodeYourWorkout.com as a funny take on some of the hype and tag lines you find on the packaging of workout and bodybuilding supplements and products.
