P90X, Day 91 — Chest and Back

P90X Chest and Back

My next round of P90X starts today and it’s back to on of my favorite work­outs, Chest and Back. It’s just push ups fol­lowed by pull ups fol­lowed by more push ups and then repeat.

It’s been a good while since I’ve got­ten nau­seous dur­ing this work­out. And I know this hasn’t hap­pened to just me since I’ve read other’s posts about their first expe­ri­ences with the Chest and Back work­out and that two com­mon searches that bring peo­ple here are P90X first day nau­seous and P90X Chest and Back nauseous.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not like I want to get sick while work­ing out. I was just think­ing back to the first few times I did this work­out. At the half way mark every time the nau­sea would kick in.

Here’s some start­ing stats (and end­ing stats for the round I fin­ished yesterday):

Weight: 229 lbs
Waist: 38″

P90X, Day 90 — Yoga X

P90X Yoga XAnd it’s Yoga X that will wrap up this round of P90X.

This round of P90X has been great. I may not have lost all of the weight that I wanted, but that by no means makes this any less suc­cess­ful. I still lost a good amount of weight, to the tune of 20 pounds. I also reviewed my work­out sheets from Day 1 to Day 90 and I see a notice­able increase in both reps and weight used for exercises.

I feel much stronger too and I’m not stop­ping here. I still have more weight to lose and I bet I can con­tinue to get stronger and more fit.

Since I took some time off a few weeks back, I’m not going go take time off now. I’m start­ing the next round tomor­row with day 91. See you then!

P90X, Day 89 — Core Synergistics

P90X Core SynergisticsCore Syn­er­gis­tics 3 times in 6 days. My torso is feel­ing it, but I lov­ing the inten­sity of this routine.

I have the wind knocked out me each time about half way through, but I feel great at the end.

P90X, Day 87 — Kenpo X

P90X Kenpo XIt’s been a while since I’ve done Kenpo X since I’ve been doing Core Syn­er­gis­tics in it’s place.

It felt good to do this work­out again. It’s still now where near one of my favorites and not as intense as the other rou­tines, but a change of pace is always good.

I enjoyed that change of pace this morning.

It feels like I just did this work­out. That’s right, I did. Core Syn­er­gis­tics on Sat­ur­day and right back at it again today.
